Game entry check
Play Quake in your browser: what we checked
Two independent browser versions of Quake exist. One is a QuakeWorld multiplayer page; the other describes a free shareware episode.
What this page is. We fetched the entry page over HTTPS and read its title and visible text. We did not play the game, sign in, or test performance. Radiant Optimizer itself is Windows tuning software and does not provide this game.
Quick answer
Entry page opens File requirement unclear Checked October 10, 2026. Whether it plays well on your device is not verified.
Entry pages
| Link | What the page says about itself |
|---|---|
| q1.pieter.com | Titled "Play QuakeWorld Multiplayer Online" and labeled non-commercial and unofficial. |
| netquake.io | Describes a free shareware episode and says the full game needs your own copy. |
These are third-party sites. We do not operate them and cannot vouch for their content beyond what is listed here.
What we observed
- q1.pieter.com describes itself as browser-based QuakeWorld with client-side prediction and no install.
- netquake.io says the shareware episode is free and the full game can be unlocked with your own copy (the site's own wording).
What we could not confirm
- We have not played either version, so latency and multiplayer population are unverified.
- Full-game access depends on you owning a copy; check the entry page.
Before you click
- Do not install browser extensions, run .exe files, or enter account passwords for a "browser game".
- Browser versions of 3D games usually need WebAssembly and WebGL 2. Check yours on the browser check page.
- School and work devices may block these pages. Follow your network's rules; we do not help bypass filters.
Other games we checked
- Play Black Ops Zombies in browser
- Play Skate 3 in browser
- Play Halo CE in browser
- Play CS Surf in browser
