Comparison
Radiant Optimizer vs Hone
Both are Windows tools that apply gaming-oriented tweaks. This page compares what each vendor says about itself. It is not a performance ranking.
No benchmarks. We have not measured FPS or latency for either tool. Every row below is a vendor statement read on October 10, 2026.
Disclosure. As of October 10, 2026 we have no affiliate arrangement with either company and no paid placement. If that changes we will mark affected links and update this page.
| Item | Radiant Optimizer | Hone |
|---|---|---|
| Platform | Windows 10 and 11 | Windows 10 and 11 gaming PCs |
| Free tier | Hardware dashboard and scan, eight starter tweaks, speed and latency tests, System Restore tools | 10 optimizations; referrals add one each, up to 15 in total |
| Paid model | $57.77 USD once, one PC; no subscription | Premium removes the optimization limit and adds Premium-only optimizations and presets, Boost-Ups, no ads and priority support. The vendor's home page does not state a price; check its pricing page |
| Game support claims | About 20 game profiles (the vendor's own pages are not consistent on the count) | Detects more than 100,000 titles for system-wide optimization; dedicated presets vary by game, 12 featured titles listed |
| Undo claims | Supported changes have undo or restore paths; other actions recover differently | Saves original values for supported registry optimizations; the page does not say every change is reversible |
| How you get it | Download from the vendor's site | Download page or an Epic Games Store listing; the web installer is delivered through Overwolf |
| Network | Connection tests and network-related controls | Tunes supported local adapter settings; says it does not control your ISP, Wi-Fi, server distance or load |
| Independent testing | None found by us | None checked by us; the site shows customer quotes it chose to display |
How to choose without a benchmark
- Prefer the one whose free tier shows you something real on your PC before you pay.
- Prefer the pricing model that fits you: Radiant is one-time per PC; Hone is a free tier with a limit and a paid plan whose price you must check.
- Check each tool's refund terms and whether a restore point is created before changes.
- Test one change at a time with the same game scene and keep a record of before and after.
